Rate: $50/hour, depending on scope of work and level of experience

And we’re growing! Currently, we’re looking for a Contract LMS Consultant/Training Analyst (1099) to join our extended team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities as they relate to the technical support on our LMS.

This is a long-term contract position with a high-growth, innovative global tech company. The expectation is that candidates are able to accommodate a hybrid work environment, including 3 days each week in an office location in Santa Clara Valley, CA with the other 2 days being remote. There will be occasional travel to meet with team members in another office location in Phoenix, AZ. The rate for this particular role is $50/hour, which will ultimately take into account candidates' level of experience, education, and geographic location. There is not a variable compensation element associated with this role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead efforts related to an LMS transition and integration project, including: becoming familiar with current and new LMS platforms; organizing, mapping, and migrating data fields to relevant locations; testing and validating data migration by reviewing reports, etc.
  • Reconcile data sources as LMS data migrates from the LMS system to other downstream data sources
  • Assist with transformation of historical data as data is migrated from old to new LMS systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including course repository, system specifications, user manuals, and other technical reports
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS and other learning technologies, and communicate with the LMS provider
  • Provide technical support to end users and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the LMS and learning technology space
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new LMS features and functionality
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Education, Computer Science, Technology or related field, or equivalent years of work experience
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Training Analyst role, preferably in the LMS or learning technology space
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of such collaboration tools as iWork and Confluence
  • Proven experience with learning technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in product management
  • Working knowledge of development technologies and approaches
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders while effectively managing time, cost and scope
  • Deep analytical skills to recognize opportunities for technical solutions to solve business problems
  • Curious, self-driven and innovative mind who is willing to look for out-of-the-box solutions and think creatively around solutions for large-scale problems
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus
